Rich Mountain Community College (RMCC) is concerned about the privacy of our visitors. With this in mind, the college home page (http://www.rmcc.edu) will not collect personal information. We also refrain from the use of "cookies" to collect information unless the page so states that "cookies" will be used.

Any information that you provide to us through any on-line means will only be used for the specific purpose that you desired. However, this may involve redirecting your inquiry or comment to the area best equipped to meet your needs.

Our server logs do collect information about your connection and general information about your visit to our Web site. This information may be used to analyze the site and to identify system performance or problem areas.  This information is not used to track individuals or to collect any personal information.

The information we collect will not be sold. The information will only be released when the college is legally required to do so. Some examples of this would be to help legal investigations, proceedings or internal investigations of RMCC's policies. These groups would use the information to track the electronic interactions back to the source account(s) or computer(s).

Pages that require more information from or about the individual will have statements on their pages about how the information will be used.

This site uses security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
