RMCC Priority Initiatives 2003-2005

Through a strategic process-involving faculty, staff, administration, and community members the following Priority Initiatives for the years 2003-2005 were established for effectively moving the college forward in the fulfillment of its Strategic Goals 2001-2010.

  • Priority Initiative 1: Provide high-quality, relevant academic programs.
  • Priority Initiative 2: Provide high-quality, relevant technical programs.
  • Priority Initiative 3: Provide high-quality, relevant workforce and professional education programs.
  • Priority Initiative 4: Provide high-quality, relevant non-credit, continuing education, community service, and 60+ programs and activities.
  • Priority Initiative 5: Provide high-quality, relevant instructional activities in adult basic education, developmental education, and literacy.
  • Priority Initiative 6: Provide high-quality, relevant administrative processes, programs, and functions that value employees, promote shared governance, and ensure the attainment of the mission of the college.
  • Priority Initiative 7: Inform service area constituents of educational programs and opportunities.
  • Priority Initiative 8: Extend the college influence and promote good will through communication efforts.
  • Priority Initiative 9: Inform and seek assistance from political and civic leaders of the mission of the college and resources needed to fulfill the mission
  • Priority Initiative 10: Provide high-quality, relevant outreach programs.
  • Priority Initiative 11: Recruit and retain qualified, caring faculty and staff.
  • Priority Initiative 12: Encourage and support involvement in community service, cultural enrichment, and recreational activities by the college community.
  • Priority Initiative 13: Provide facilities to enhance high-quality, relevant programs and services.
  • Priority Initiative 14: Provide high-quality, relevant services to students.
  • Priority Initiative 15: Provide technological infrastructure and support to promote high-quality relevant instructional programs and services.
