Credentials for Presidential Scholarship
- Minimum 3.2 Cumulative GPA at Graduation
- College Involvement and Leadership
- Community Involvement and Leadership
- Application, which includes:
- Presidential Scholarship Applicant Packet Cover Sheet
- Letter of Introduction
- Resume
- Transcript (unofficial copy okay)
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (2 RMCC faculty, 1 RMCC staff)
- Statement of Rationale, addressing the following:
- why you should receive the scholarship
- description of your college involvement and leadership
- description of your community involvement and leadership
- one-page essay entitled "Why Seek an Education"

Universities that provide Presidential Scholarships
- Henderson State University (HSU)
- Arkansas Tech University (ATU)
- University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (UAFS)
- University of Central Arkansas (UCA)
- University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) (Transfer scholarship – 60 hrs & 3.0)
- Harding University (four for $1500 each; two years)
- UALR (three for tuition/fees and $500 for books/supplies annually; renewable)
- Arkansas State University (ASU) (scholarship awards are in transitional phase; contact

- Southern Arkansas University (SAU)
The University of the Ozarks offers a transfer scholarship:
A graduate of RMCC that has over 60 transferable credit hours and a 3.5 GPA could qualify for a $5000 Transfer scholarship. The range of scholarship opportunities is from $2000 to the top level of $5000.
