Director of Admissions

The Director of Admissions, under the direction of the Vice President of Student Affairs, is responsible for operation of the Admissions Office with a focus of attention in recruiting, admitting new and returning students of diverse ages and educational goals, maintaining a referral service that assist stduents with counseling needs, and providing student assistance throughout their tenure at RMCC. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with a major in a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of a computer for word processing, data base management, and on-line student management.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • One to three years of experience in an educational setting or related field.
    • One to three years of experience in academic advisement, admissions counseling, career counseling or related area.
    • Experience working on a college campus.

Upward Bound Programs Outreach Representative 

The Upward Bound Programs Outreach Representative, under the direction of the Director of Upward Bound Programs, serves as a representative for student intake and advising and collects reporting data for the Upward Bound Classic (UBCL) and Upward Bound Math/Science (UBMS) program. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in mathematics or science education, social services, or related field.
  • Demonstrates a low-income, first generation background or success in working with students from similar backgrounds.
  • Experience in dealing with people, either individually or in groups.
  • Experience in relating to students from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Experience in the field of student financial aid, either at the college or high school level desirable.
  • Experience in the field of education or social services desirable.
  • Previous TRiO experience preferred, though not required.
  • Must either possess or be willing and eligible to get CDL with passenger endorsement.
  • Must either possess or be willing and able to get CPR/First Aid certification.
