Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search primarily targets middle and high school students from Polk, Scott and Montgomery counties to assist them with college preparation. ETS participants are students who demonstrate potential for postsecondary education, but may be lacking in resources and knowledge to prepare adequately. Two-thirds of participants in ETS must meet income requirements families and also be first generation college students. Educational Talent Search began in 1994 at RMCC and is one of the four TRIO federally funded grant programs located on campus.
Who is Eligible?
ETS services are available to 6th thru 12th grade students who reside in Polk, Scott, or Montgomery counties. Most participants are required to meet income requirements and be first generation students.
