Getting Started

 

 · How to get started: Admissions Checklist

 

o Step I: Admissions Application - (downloadable/printable versions.)

Obtain an application by clicking the above link or by calling the admissions office (479) 394-7622,

Ext. 1440.  Completed applications can be submitted through email to wmcdaniel@rmcc.edu, brought in to RMCC's Admissions Office, or mailed to:

o Step 2:  Submit official copies of your high school transcript or GED transcript.

If a high school graduate, contact your high school to submit a copy of your official high school transcript (which includes an official school staff signature, school seal, and graduation date) to RMCC.

If a GED graduate, contact the state which you obtained your GED scores and request an official transcript to be sent to RMCC.

If taking course for high school concurrent credit, contact your high school to submit a copy of your official high school transcript (which includes an official school staff signature and school seal).

o Step 3: Submit official copies of college transcripts

Contact all colleges previously attended to request official transcript(s) to be mailed to:

o Step 4: Provide proof of measles, mumps, rubella(MMR) immunizations.Immunization requirements may be waived for students only taking classes for personal enrichment.If foreign born, students must provide proof of current negative tuberculosis (TB skin test) test.

o Step 5: Submit placement test scores (ACT, SAT, ASSET or COMPASS) if scores are less than 5 years from last test date or schedule testing with nearest RMCC office. The tests will determine if you need to take developmental math, reading or English courses.
